Shipping Policy

  • Your products will be shipped safely and securely to the address you have listed as your Shipping Address using the shipping service and speed you have selected.
  • Second Hand Post reserves the right to change your selected shipping service to a provider that will deliver your product in a comparable speed with comparable quality. The customer agrees that if certain shipping services are incompatible with the customer's address, the customer will notify Second Hand Post in advance of the purchase.
  • Shipping fees are not refundable once the shipping label has been produced. Please contact me at James@secondhandpost.com if you want to discuss shipping terms in advance.
  • Second Hand Post will attempt to consolidate orders placed within three business days of one another, but this is not guaranteed and will be managed at the sole discretion of Second Hand Post. If you want to purchase multiple products and keep shipping costs as low as possible, please ensure those products are purchased in the same Shopping Cart so your order will capture all the products you want shipped together.
  • When the tracking status for an order shows as "Delivered," or "Delivered to Final Agent," or a similar status, this indicates the shipment has been successfully delivered to the customer. Once the shipment tracking status indicates successful delivery, Second Hand Post no longer bears any responsibility for the status/location of packages.

Pre-Order Policy

1. What is a Pre-Order?

Some products in our store are marked as “Pre-Order”. These products are not yet in-stock and will not ship immediately. Pre-Order products are made to order and shipped upon production completion.

2. Third-Party Pre-Order Products

Please note that some pre-order products are sourced from third-party companies. Second Hand Post has no control over the manufacturing timelines or processes of these third-party products. We will provide updates as available but cannot guarantee specific timelines for these items.

3. Shipping and Delivery

Non-Immediate Shipping: Pre-order products are not available for immediate shipment. Production and fulfillment times can vary, and some pre-orders may take over a year to be completed.

Estimated Shipment Dates: Any dates provided for shipment are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Refunds will not be issued due to delays beyond the estimated timeframe.

4. Combined Orders

If an order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, shipping fees paid will be used to send the in-stock items included in the combined order. You will be asked to pay an additional shipping fee when the pre-order product is ready for shipment. Second Hand Post will contact customers when pre-orders have been completed and are in the possession of Second Hand Post. If the shipping fee is not paid for the pre-order product within 7 days after the product becomes available, Second Hand Post reserves the right to cancel the pre-order and charge a 10% restocking fee for the order cancellation. 

5. Cancellation and Fees

Cancellation Policy: Pre-Orders may be cancelled within 7 calendar days of order placement without penalty. After 7 calendar days cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation and restocking fee. This is due to manufacturer(s) requiring payment at the time of order submission. After the 7 day period payment has been submitted to the manufacturer and refunds come at greater cost to us.

6. Terms of Service

By placing a pre-order with Second Hand Post, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Pre-Order Policy. Thank you for your support and understanding.
